Today we have some quick and simple cards using washi tape and scraps from your stash. These cards are so easy to make that you will want to create multiples for every occasion. Plus they're a great way to use the products you have. I found the washi tape card idea on Pinterest from Flower Shoppe Cards.
I used my favorite roll of Doodlebug washi tape for all of the cards but changed the sentiment and ink color for each of them. I love how versatile this tape is!
The bright and cheery colors grab your attention and can be used for any occasion.
I added a score line above the top edge of the tape and three score lines below the bottom edge using my score board. It's a super easy technique for adding texture to your card without adding any bulk.

Quick and Simple Cards Using Scraps
For this card I used 1/4" strips of leftover Bazzill cardstock in coordinating colors. Simply adhere them to the upper portion of a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock. Stamp a sentiment using your favorite stamps just below the strips. Using some foam tape, I mounted the panel to an A2 card base. Quick and simple!
For my last card I started with a 4" x 5 1/4" white cardstock panel. I adhered a scrap piece of striped pattern paper to the bottom half of the panel. Then I topped the edge with a 1/4" strip of red cardstock. Add a stamped sentiment just above that and your panel is done. Finish it up with a little foam tape on the back of the panel and adhere to an A2 card base.
Creating doesn't have to take hours. You can use these designs to make quick and simple cards in no time!
