Double Easel Card

Here's a fun card that I recently offered for a make and take at a couple of craft retreats. It's called a double easel card and it is so easy to make. You can change the paper and embellishments to make it a different theme.

Cutting & Scoring Dimensions for Double Easel Card

Card Base: 4 ¼”x11, Score in half at 5 ½”

Easel: 4”x10 ¼”, Score at 2 ½” & 5”

Easel Pattern Papers: (3 pieces total) 3 ¾”x5”, 3 ¾”x2 ¼”, 3 ¾”x2 ¼”

Inside Pattern Paper: ¾”x3 ¾”

Inside Cardstock Strip: 1/8”x3 ¾”

If you’re not using a white card base then you will also need a white piece of cardstock to stamp your sentiment on measuring 3 ¾”x5”

  1. Start by folding your card base on the score line, burnishing with a bone folder to give it a crisp fold.  Stamp your sentiment on the inside of the card.
  2.  Fold your easel along the score lines, burnishing with a bone folder to give it a crisp fold. You will accordion fold the small sections.
  3. Adhere the pattern paper pieces to the easel.
  4. Adhere the easel to the front of the card base.
  5. Embellish with die-cuts or as desired.
